Hosted by Eli Hallak, M.Ed., ATc, EMT, nationally recognized athletic trainer, and features regulars Joel Doerning, Victoria Chavez, Tim Moscicki, Cindy Kramer, Julie Rudy, and Gabriel Hallak. The program will be an active exchange on the issues of today and tomorrow. Special guests will join the conversation and the emphasis will always be to present honest perspectives. Eli Hallak
Host
Eli Hallak M.Ed, ATc, EMT is a board-certified athletic trainer, and an emergency medical technician, with over 30 years of expertise. He received his bachelor’s degree from Humboldt State University in 1994 with an emphasis in Athletic Training. His master’s degree is in Education from William Howard Taft University. He has volunteered professionally and has held positions in several organizations, including the Calif. Athletic Trainers Assoc., The Far West Athletic Trainers Association, and The National Athletic Trainers Association. He is also the National Council President for the National Honor Society of Sports Medicine – National High School Sports Medicine Association, and a member of the CIF-SS sports medicine advisory committee. Mr. Hallak was honored in 2003 as the Far West Athletic Trainer’s Association Outstanding Secondary School Trainer of the Year and by the California Athletic Trainers’ Association in 2009.
Gabriel Hallak

Gabriel Hallak, MS Ed, is the Producer of WRAP IT UP: Sports Medicine + More and an Educator in the Los Angeles region. In 1996 he began coaching high school football after a knee injury cut his college career short. He retired from coaching in 2016 after 23 years to focus on a career in Education. He has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from California State University, Northridge, and a Masters of Science in Education from Mount Saint Mary's University, Los Angeles. During his years on the field, he held positions as a Head Coach, Defensive Line Coach, Offensive Line Coach, and the Head of Scouting and Video Media. Gabriel also studied Tsoi Li Ho Fut Hung Kung Fu at TLH Kung Fu Academy under Master's Ron Franco and Josh Raha from 1999-2004.
Joel Doerning

Joel Doerning, ATc, is a board-certified athletic trainer Joel Doerning with over 14 years of experience. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training in May 2009 from California State University, Northridge. He has gained experience working with CSUN athletic programs, Pasadena City College athletic programs, the DeBartolo Sports University, the AVP Tour, and Bishop Alemany High School.
Victoria Chavez

Victoria Chavez MS, ATC is in her first year as a certified athletic trainer. Victoria received her bachelor's degree in Exercise and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and most recently earned her Masters of Science in Athletic Training degree at Azusa Pacific University. She has experience working in the secondary school setting, industrial setting, community college, cheer competition, and Division II track and field.
Tim Moscicki

Tim Moscicki has been with Loyola High School, Los Angeles for 28 years. He is the Head Athletic Trainer, Director of Student Health, and the coordinator for Loyola’s Concussion Program. Mr. Moscicki oversees the health of all of Loyola’s athletic teams both in terms of injury prevention and treatment. He is responsible for coordinating and communicating with physicians, parents, administrators, teachers, and coaches in matters that affect a student’s physical health.
Tim has been a Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association since 1988, is a member of the CIF-SS Athletic Trainer Advisory Council, has been a licensed Emergency Medical Technician since 1984, and a AHA instructor. Mr Moscicki teaches all seniors and coaches CPR and First Aid during the school year.
Cindy Kramer

Cindy Kramer MS, ATC, CSCS has been the Head Certified Athletic Trainer for Notre Dame High School, Sherman Oaks, California since 1987. Cindy is a graduate of California State University, Northridge. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Coaching. She completed the Athletic Training program at CSUN, becoming certified in 1987, and received her Masters Degree in Sports Medicine, with a focus in rehabilitation, in 2006. She has worked with collegiate and club-level athletes but has primarily worked with high school athletes of all sports.
Julie Rudy

Julie Rudy MA, ATC, is a dedicated professional with over a decade of experience. She currently serves as the Head Athletic Trainer for Maria Carrillo High School in Santa Rosa, California and Adjunct Instructor at Sonoma State University.
Juile was previously the Head Athletic Trainer at Sonoma State University and Adjunct Instructor Santa Rosa Junior College. She was a recipient of the NCAA innovations Grant for mental health of student athletes in 2017, sat on the CSRUMA-AIME committee, which provided guidance for the Cal State system for expense funds for athletic Injuries and is active in volunteering in her community.
Julie’s passion for educating the next generation of athletic trainers is reflected in her ability to create enriching learning experiences that empower students to excel in the field. She has played a pivotal role in ensuring the health and well-being of student-athletes while fostering a culture of excellence in sports medicine.
